With a retro-futuristic vibe, cosmic sets, and tongue-in-cheek humor, the Spring/Summer 2025 campaign from Swiss brand On takes activewear to another galaxy—literally.
Is it a campaign—or the trailer for a sci-fi blockbuster? That’s the question everyone’s asking after the release of Zone Dreamers, On’s Spring/Summer 2025 campaign starring none other than Zendaya. Directed by Nadia Lee Cohen, known for her stylized, cinematic vision, the video playfully blurs the line between fashion film and parody, injecting a welcome dose of humor into the typically serious world of performance sportswear.
Set aboard a spaceship in deep space, Zendaya transforms into a sleek, sporty extraterrestrial complete with sharp ears, a pixie haircut, and On’s standout pieces: the Studio Knit bodysuit and Cloudzone sneakers. Styled by fashion mastermind Law Roach, her look merges retro-futurism with cutting-edge athletic design, making a bold statement that fashion and function can—and should—coexist.
The campaign doesn’t just sell clothes—it tells a story. From the very first scene, Zendaya’s character recites a motivational mantra in front of a mirror: “You can do anything. You can be anyone.” From there, the absurdity only escalates. She lifts weights in zero gravity, spars with a punching bag full of health food, and eventually, sets out on a space mission… to find fast food. The contrast between high-performance sportswear and comically clumsy workout routines pokes fun at fitness culture, reminding us not to take ourselves too seriously.
What makes Zone Dreamers so refreshing is its self-aware tone. In a world flooded with ultra-polished fitness campaigns, On dares to laugh at the process while still showcasing the power and versatility of its products. Zendaya’s athletic grace, paired with comedic timing and interstellar surroundings, proves that performance can be playful—and that fashion, even in space, should be fun.
As the campaign tagline cheekily claims, it might just be "the best movie ever made." Whether or not that’s true, one thing is clear: On has launched a whole new way of thinking about activewear—one light-year ahead of the rest.
